United Nations Building a prominent symbol of the skyline of New York
In New York, United Nations Headquarters is a unique complex stands between city skyscrapers. The building was used as headquarters of the United Nations since it was completed in 1950.
Overlooking the East River on the east side of downtown Manhattan is the UN building at Turtle Bay. The location of the UN is considered international territory, although on the campus of New York.
